We’re over the moon to hear that Three Uncles has been listed as one of the best restaurants in Camden by Time Out in 2025.
“In Hawley Wharf Foodhall, you'll find 30 eateries, but our favourite is Three Uncles, where you’ll get perfect roasted meat, Hong Kong-style” – Time Out, 2025

With over 350 restaurants in buzzing Camden town, competition is fierce with food options on every corner. That makes it even more special to us and our Camden team that we’ve been recognised among the best in this iconic neighbourhood.
What Makes Three Uncles Special in Camden?
Three Uncles Camden was our second ever shop when we opened back in 2021. It might be small, but it packs a punch with flavour.
Daily roasting: From our 250 sq foot kitchen on the second floor of Hawley Wharf market we roast every day, proper Cantonese BBQ classics that remind you of Hong Kong. Always chopped to order, roasted through the day in small batches so it’s fresh and delicious. You’ll find roast duck, char siu BBQ pork, crispy pork belly and Hainanese chicken rice. The tiny shopfront window with the glowing red neon sign is how you know you’ve arrived on the second floor.
Special history: Camden Market is special, it’s iconic, home to countless famous bands and celebs over the years from Amy Winehouse to Pink Floyd. (Amy was a regular at the Hawley Arms pub just below us).
Great location: You’ll find us just off Camden High Street in Hawley Wharf on the second floor of the foodhall. It looks right over the Regent’s Canal, the perfect spot to sit with a box of char siu rice and watch the world go by. We’re also in Zone 1, only 5 minutes walk from Camden tube station so easy to reach from anywhere in London.
Group friendly: Hawley Wharf has plenty of communal seating so it’s a great place for a group meet up without needing to book a big table. Grab a bench and you’re sorted, and in winter there are heaters too.
Wheelchair accessible: Our Camden spot is also wheelchair friendly with lifts up to the second floor, wide walkways and lots of space in the foodhall.
Camden’s Food Scene
Camden Market has always been famous for market food stalls. Everyone remembers boxes of noodles and street vendors calling out to the crowds. Chinese food has always been part of that story, and if you’re heading to a gig you’ll find plenty of good places to eat near the Roundhouse in Camden before the show.
At Three Uncles we wanted to take it further. Instead of quick takeaway boxes, we roast meats the traditional Hong Kong way. Crispy pork belly, juicy char siu, rich roast duck, made fresh every day. By bringing these flavours to Hawley Wharf in Camden we’ve added our own chapter to Camden’s food culture while staying true to our Cantonese roots.
Time Out’s Best Restaurants in Camden 2025

Ma Petite Jamaica – Caribbean classics since 1985
Andy’s Taverna – long-standing Greek favourite
